Front Porch Digital Extends Global, Exclusive Relationship with TelestreamFlipFactory Transcoding Integrated Into DIVAworks “Archive-in-a-Box” ApplianceOctober 12, 2005 Boulder, CO, October 12, 2005 - Incentra Solutions, Inc. (OTCBB: ICNS) today announced that its Front Porch Digital Broadcast and Media Division has expanded its global, exclusive partnership with Telestream, creator of the market-leading FlipFactory transcoding application. Front Porch has completed the integration of FlipFactory transcoding within its DIVAworks “archive-in-a-box” solution. This plug-and-play appliance now delivers complete archive management and low-resolution proxy generation in a very affordable single-server configuration.
“We believe this enhancement to DIVAworks presents an even more compelling value proposition to the growing global market of first-time archive buyers,” said Front Porch President Michael Knaisch. “Front Porch and Telestream products are working together in many of the world’s largest, most complex digital broadcast operations. Now we can bring these best-of-breed capabilities to smaller broadcasters at an inexpensive, entry-level price, and we intend to be very aggressive in our global marketing efforts.”
The DIVAworks system provides a turnkey, entry-level archive package in a single 4-RU chassis that is designed to meet the need for a small, high-performance system at an economical price point. DIVAworks combines a dual-CPU server, 2 terabytes (TB) of near-line storage, and a 10-cassette data tape library, all operating under control of DIVArchive software.
The new DIVAworks transcoding capability supports a very broad range of video server input formats including common file types from Grass Valley, Leitch, Pinnacle, Omneon, Quantel, SeaChange, Sony, and 360 Systems. The output is a Windows Media 9 file that is available for proxy review controlled by DIVAworks.
