Front Porch Digital’s DIVAworks to be Showcased in Live-Event and Sports Production Model at EVS NAB2006 BoothApril 24, 2006 LAS VEGAS — April 24, 2006 — Front Porch Digital (FPD), the Broadcast and Media Division of Incentra Solutions, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: ICNS), today announced that during the NAB2006 exhibition, the company’s DIVAworks “archive-in-a-box” solution will be integrated with the EVS XStore server and CleanEdit Suite applications, including CleanArchive, in a cutting-edge sports and live-event production solution showcased at the EVS booth (C3230). “CleanEdit Suite, the end-to-end solution from EVS for news and sports production, will be displayed in the News & Sports Editing area of our booth. The latest CleanArchive module allows perfect integration between EVS systems and the Front Porch Digital DIVAworks archive system,” said Nicolas Bourdon, EVS marketing manager. “Thanks to the powerful DIVArchive system, EVS CleanEdit objects — edits or media — can be transferred easily to and from an external digital tape library and to and from an offline storage area.” In a simulated news and sports production environment, Front Porch Digital’s DIVAworks will be connected to an EVS XStore server, a dedicated media server platform ideal for storing, sharing, exchanging, and editing audio and video content in SD and HD using file-based architectures. A compact yet complete archive solution, DIVAworks offers the power of Front Porch Digital’s award-winning DIVArchive in a plug-and-play appliance by combining a dual-CPU server, 2 TB of near-line storage, and a 10-cassette data tape library, all operating under control of DIVArchive software. EVS nonlinear editing software, CleanEdit, will be hosted on the XStore server. Version 2.0 of CleanEdit is an affordable end-to-end news and sports production system that offers complete interoperability with newsroom computer systems and format support for HD and camcorders. The complete suite of applications manages workflow from acquisition, browsing, and editing through review and approval, a process completed by diffusion of the playlist. During the NAB2006 demonstration hosted by EVS, CleanArchive will be connected to DIVArchive for archiving media associated to the objects stored in the EVS database. A special interface allows the user to see the archived media and to restore them at will. “DIVAworks is designed to offer broadcasters an affordable solution for archive management, and in combination with EVS solutions, it sets a very high standard for storing and accessing media within the challenging live-production setting,” said Front Porch Vice President and Managing Director for Europe and Asia Rino Petricola. “Like our range of archive management solutions, EVS products have consistently been recognized for their outstanding quality, reliability, and versatility. We look forward to seeing this joint product implementation ― representing leading broadcast technologies ― at work during NAB2006.”
