Helio Solutions Officially Changes Its Name to Incentra SolutionsHelio Solutions Customers Realize Immediate Benefits from Incentra AcquisitionNovember 15, 2007 Santa Clara, CA – November 15, 2007 – Helio Solutions, Inc. announced today that it officially changed its name. After becoming a wholly-owned subsidiary of Incentra Solutions, Inc. (OTCBB: ICNS) in August 2007, the company now operates as Incentra Solutions, with offices in Santa Clara, San Francisco, and San Jose and sales coverage through the Southwest. As a result of the acquisition, customers have begun taking advantage of many new benefits.
“As part of a bigger organization with an international footprint, we can deliver a broader portfolio of products and services to our customers,” says Incentra Regional President Dave Condensa. “Our focus has always been to help customers build more efficient and available IT infrastructures – now we can actually manage it for them through our Network Operations Center (NOC) in Boulder. We can also provide remote monitoring and managed services such as GridWorks, First Call services for managing maintenance contracts on multi-vendor product lines, and professional services for assessing, designing and implementing technology solutions across platforms. In addition, we have raised the status level with each of our most strategic partners including Sun Microsystems (Executive), Cisco (Gold), Microsoft, HP, Network Appliance, Juniper (Gold) and VMware.”
Since Helio Solutions was founded in 2001, the company has differentiated itself from other systems integrators by going beyond the technology sale and offering flexible services around asset lifecycle management, and custom configuration and integration at its 25,000 square foot, state-of-the-art integration facility. Incentra will continue its focus to help customers save money by increasing utilization of existing technology (now on an even bigger scale), and recommending new technology when needed.
Mr. Condensa adds, “More than 90 percent of our existing customer base has expressed pain points around storage management, data protection and back-up services. Based on our deep bench of highly skilled systems engineers coupled with our new comprehensive service offering, we are extremely well positioned to provide end-to-end solutions in the areas of virtualization, server and storage consolidation, disaster recovery and storage management. There isn’t another solution provider out there that has the tools, methodology, engineering talent, technical expertise, operational expertise or managed service offering to address these IT challenges. ”
In just three months, Incentra has begun converting approximately 75 percent of its customer base with service contracts to some level of First Call. The company is now building its managed services sales team in the Northern California regional office and plans to roll-out its GridWorks remote monitoring and managed services in the coming weeks.
